Incredible piece! Normally I would provide a comment involving areas you could improve, but with a piece this scale there would be too much to critique, and I dont mean that as an insult, this is an impressive piece in sheer size and detail alone, and it is well executed, it would be being unnecessarily nitpicky to try and point out anything that could be improved
Thanks for the comment. I would like to hear some critique! The only thing that needs to be modified is the Black Crystal characters and also position the width of the 2 px in the commodore 64 section. I'll modify it asap.
Very overall nice piece! It does a good job at using a low color count and has some nice texturing!
the whale suffers from readability issues throughout the animation, theres only a couple frames at the end where I could tell what it was supposed to be, a main reason for this is the white underbelly blended in a lot with the sky and sea, maybe in the future strive to create some contrast via a change in the colorscheme or with use of outlines? It would improve the quality some. The fast movements of the whale could also use some smearing to make the entire thing feel smoother.
